Developed by the content marketing agency storyboard
True to the company credo "Media for tomorrow", the KLAMBT media group is also looking to the future in its external presentation. Together with the Munich-based content marketing agency storyboard, which is part of the group, the KLAMBT CI has been fundamentally revised and presents itself in a new look at the beginning of the new year.
In 2023, the KLAMBT media group looked back on 180 years of publishing history. Conscious of this impressive tradition, publishers Lars Joachim and Kai Rose are continuously looking ahead and, to mark the start of a new publishing decade, are presenting a revised corporate identity that was developed in collaboration with content marketing agency storyboard.
This was preceded by a process in which an employee survey was conducted to determine the values that they believe the KLAMBT media group stands for. The attributes team spirit, family cohesion, honesty, tradition, flexibility and speed emerged almost unanimously. The familiar blue color scheme of the previous KLAMBT CI was also a given for the employees and publishers surveyed.
Storyboard Managing Director Dr. Markus Schönmann explains the resulting further approach and intention of the new corporate identity: "We used these values from the survey and the color space as a basis for developing a new, future-proof logo and image. It consists of the "master brand", which is made up of a K signet and the name KLAMBT. The signet K, which consists of two triangles, one of which is transparent and thus forms three variable triangular areas that can be used in different ways for the various business areas of Klambt as "subbrands", e.g. KLAMBT Digital or KLAMBT Content Group. Schönmann explains the "K" as the future trademark: "The signet alone is particularly suitable for digital channels such as LinkedIn, Instagram or WhatsApp." The term media group will continue to be used in everyday language and will also be used in the future, but will no longer be part of the logo.
"Overall, the new logo and the new image stand for a future-proof media group that offers its target groups entertainment, high-quality content and service on all media channels," say the two KLAMBT publishers Lars Joachim and Kai Rose, explaining the introduction of the new corporate identity for their company.
