A bright future for the Klambt media group

Leading a media group in its 6th generation, which celebrated its 175th anniversary in 2018, is both an honor and an obligation.

Like many other media companies, our company, which consisted of publishing and printing divisions and the operation of insurance agencies at the core of its long existence, has undergone significant change over the past 20 years.

After the sale of the printing plants in 1995, we were faced with a crucial question, at the latest when the "spectre" of digitization and the supposedly inevitable death of all print products first appeared on the scene at the beginning of the new millennium.

The decision to continue investing in our magazine portfolio with great entrepreneurial courage and risk, which we have been able to expand significantly over the course of this period, is now proving more than ever to be the right and consistent step: the media group is a major player in the German consumer magazine market in the women's, TV, people and puzzle magazine segments, generating sustainable corporate profits in these areas.

In recent years, we have also begun to build up our own digital brands and significantly expand our radio holdings and investments in digital start-ups.

Our mission is to offer readers and users of our journalistic and other offerings lasting and reliable entertainment and services that they value. Just as we have done since 1843.

We want to remain a strong, independent, medium-sized, family-owned company, whose vision for the future, the generation of our children, is to have the best conditions for sustainable growth.

In order to achieve this, and to be free in opinion and independent of third parties, as stated by our founder Wilhelm Wenzel Klambt, we will reinvest significant portions of our profits, as in previous years, in order to invest strategically in our existing and neighboring new markets with entrepreneurial courage and foresight.

In doing so, we aim to always be a reliable and fair partner to our customers, employees, suppliers and service providers.
