KLAMBT acquires the magazine VIEL SPAß from Burda Verlag as of 01.01.2021

The weekly title "Viel Spaß" will be integrated into the editorial team of "DIE NEUE FRAU/WOCHE der FRAU" under the editorship of Roland Hag from January 2021. At the same time, there are plans to increase the number of editorial staff. Distribution will continue to be handled by MZV, while marketing will be handled by BCN with immediate effect, as with the other titles in the KLAMBT media group.

BCN takes over cross-media marketing of the KLAMBT media brands.

As part of a strategic collaboration, the KLAMBT media group has commissioned the multi-channel marketer BCN to market its magazine portfolio and digital platforms with immediate effect. This includes high-reach, well-known titles such as Für Sie, Petra, Vital, Funk Uhr, Lea, Jolie and OK as well as ok-magazin.de. Only Grazia and graziamagazin.de are excluded from the cooperation.

KLAMBT buys FOR YOU, Petra and Vital

KLAMBT acquires the women's magazines FÜR SIE, Petra and Vital as well as the respective web and social media accounts from Jahreszeiten Verlag, which belongs to the Ganske publishing group, by way of an asset deal. KLAMBT also takes over the young titles Dr. Wimmer, Feel Good and Iss dich gesund, which focus on health trends.

Klambt buys Jolie

In the year of its 175th anniversary, the KLAMBT media group acquires the monthly women's magazine "Jolie" and the websites "jolie.de" and "mädchen.de", including the associated social media accounts, from MEDIA GROUP MEDWETH by way of an asset deal.

2014

Acquisition of program guides

On May 1, 2014, the KLAMBT media group will take over the TV program guides FUNKUHR, Bild-Woche, SUPER TV, TV neu!, die zwei, TV piccolino, tv GENIE, myTV, TV 4x7 and tv 4 Wochen from the Essen-based FUNKE MEDIENGRUPPE. In future, these ten magazines will be produced by KLAMBT- Programmzeitschriften GmbH in Baden-Baden.

Editorial Day Premiere

On February 27, the KLAMBT media group hosted the first KLAMBT EDITORIAL DAY for the healthcare industry in Baden-Baden, setting the first highlight of the event season for the OTC sector. Publisher Kai Rose had completely redesigned the event and invited executives from the pharmaceutical industry to the spa town.

New "Happy Way" magazine

On March 21, the KLAMBT media group publishes the spiritual women's magazine Happy Way for the first time. The magazine accompanies the growing trend of searching for meaning and spiritual connection between body and mind.
Publisher Kai Rose: "Happy Way picks up on the search for inner values and harmony and proves that spirituality and self-discovery can be experienced not only in Asian teachings, but also in our home regions."

Klambt takes over "Liebes Land"

From March 1, the Klambt media group will publish the magazine "Liebes Land", which has been in existence for 5 years. Klambt is taking over a license from Hannes Scholten Verlag, which is wholly owned by Paul Parey Verlag.

KLAMBT launches the German edition of the international premium magazine Flair

The licensor is the Milan-based publishing house Mondadori, with which a license agreement already exists for the weekly fashion magazine GRAZIA.

Expansion of radio investments

Via its subsidiary Klambt-Medien GmbH, the KLAMBT media group has expanded its shares in the private radio companies in Rhineland-Palatinate.
In addition to the investments in Rhineland-Palatinate, the KLAMBT media group also holds a stake in Radio Regenbogen, Mannheim, in Baden-Württemberg.

New fashion magazine "GRAZIA

The KLAMBT media group will launch the German edition of the international weekly women's magazine GRAZIA on February 11, 2010. Both parties have signed a corresponding license agreement with the Milan-based publisher Mondadori. GRAZIA has made a name for itself internationally with its unique combination of opulent fashion staging and intelligent news journalism

"Week up to date"

The Klambt publishing group is launching the new title "Woche aktuell" on March 31, 2007. The new launch combines current people topics with an extensive service section.

2009

OK! Style Award

On May 14, 2009, the Klambt media group will present the OK! Style Award for the first time at a glamorous awards ceremony at the British Embassy in Berlin. Innovative and stylish new products in the consumer goods market were honored.

Company name changes from publishing group to media group

The Group is thus taking account of the increasing internationalization, the entry into new media business areas and the convergence of the individual publishing divisions and activities.

2008

"World of women"

From June 6, 2008, the monthly women's magazine "Welt der Frau" will be added to the segment of entertaining women's magazines. With effect from January 3, 2009, the publication frequency of "Welt der Frau" will change to fortnightly.

New people magazine "OK!"

On February 6, 2008, Verlagsgruppe Klambt launches the people magazine OK! on the German market in a joint venture with the English publisher Northern & Sell. OK! is published in over 20 countries and is the largest people magazine in the world with over 34 million readers per month.

The Klambt publishing group officially moves into the Klambt Media Center in Baden-Baden.

On April 21, 2004, the weekly women's magazine "Freizeitwoche" is published for the first time by Freizeitwoche-Verlag, in which the publishing group holds a 20% stake.

Sonnenverlag GmbH & Co. KG

On July 3, 2003, Sonnenverlag GmbH was converted into the legal form of a limited partnership by means of a conversion resolution. The company was entered in the commercial register of the Baden-Baden district court on September 11, 2003 under the number HRA 1406 and is now known as Sonnenverlag GmbH & Co KG.

Magazine production

Since 2002, Verlagsgruppe Klambt has also been publishing magazines for other European countries, including France, Italy, Spain, Romania and Serbia.

New magazines

In recent years, new titles have been successfully launched on the German magazine market, including "Die neue Frau", "Welt der Frau", "Woche der Frau" and "Lea". In addition, there are dozens of publications covering many areas of interest, from "Astro" to "Volksmusik".

In addition to subsidiaries such as "Sonnenverlag", "Klambt-Druck GmbH", a prepress service company, and "Klambt u. Endres OHG", a general agency of "Nürnberger Versicherungen", the publishing group has holdings in radio stations and major distributors through its subsidiaries Klambt-Medien and Klambt Presse.

Reunification

Germany is reunified. The Group delivers the magazines in East Germany again and participates in new press wholesalers.

Radio participations

Klambt becomes involved in private broadcasting with a stake in Radio 4 in Rhineland-Palatinate. This later becomes a stake in RPR and Radio Regenbogen.

"Der Hausfreund" is merged with "7Tage"

Under the new name, the magazine develops into a colorful illustrated magazine, a pioneer of the rainbow press. This lays the foundation for the success story of the Klambt publishing group.

Klambt-Verlag buys the title "7Tage", a flourishing entertainment magazine.

Foundation of "Sun into the home"

The magazine "Sonne ins Heim", now known as "Frau mit Herz", is founded.

First post-war edition of the "Hausfreund für Stadt und Land" is published

Over the years, "Hausfreund für Stadt und Land" develops from a political weekly into a magazine for the whole family.

1945

Escape

A few days before the Soviet troops invade Neurode, the Rose family publishers flee to the West. They then begin to rebuild the company in the cathedral and imperial city of Speyer.

1944

"Der Hausfreund" has to be discontinued by order of the Reich Press Chamber.

1906

The house friend

The small Silesian "Provinzblatt" has become the most widely distributed political weekly newspaper in Germany. The publishing house establishes branches in Hamm/Westphalia and Speyer am Rhein.

1882

Insurance business

Klambt-Verlag begins to insure subscribers to "Hausfreund". This later develops into the insurance business and the cooperation with the "Nürnberger Versicherungsgruppe".

Next generation

Wilhelm Wenzel Klambt sells the Hausfreund publishing house to his son-in-law Georg Rose, who puts the weekly on the road to success. In the 1980s, the paper becomes the most popular political weekly in Silesia.

1843

Foundation of publishing house

In its second attempt, Klambt publishes the weekly magazine "Der Hausfreund" and founds its own printing plant. This day is still regarded as the founding date of the publishing house.

1836

First issue of "Der Hausfreund" is published

The author and pawnbroker Wilhelm Wenzel Klambt publishes the weekly newspaper "Der Hausfreund" for the first time in the Silesian town of Neurode, which is published until March 28, 1837.
