In the year of its 175th anniversary, the KLAMBT media group is acquiring the monthly women's magazine "Jolie" and the websites "jolie.de" and "mädchen.de", including the associated social media accounts, from MEDIA GROUP MEDWETH by way of an asset deal. The transfer is subject to the approval of the German and Austrian antitrust authorities and does not affect the print title "MÄDCHEN", which will remain with MEDIA GROUP MEDWETH.
KLAMBT will continue to operate the magazine and the websites at its Hamburg location from June 1, 2018 at the latest. KLAMBT co-partner Ingrid Rose (42), who launched the weekly people magazine "In" in 2005 and successfully managed it as editor-in-chief for many years, will take over as editor-in-chief of the print edition.
The websites "jolie.de" and "mädchen.de" and the associated social media activities will in future be created and managed by the KLAMBT Digital team led by Head of Digital Kai Kromat (41) in Hamburg. Following the takeover of "jolie.de" and "mädchen.de", KLAMBT, together with "ok-magazin.de" and "grazia-magazin.de", reaches a cumulative total of over 5 million unique users per month.
Gruner + Jahr e|MS, which has also been responsible for the successful marketing of the KLAMBT title "Grazia" for many years, will continue to market the assets.
