KLAMBT media group acquires a stake in Careloop, an online recruitment platform for international nurses and geriatric nurses.
The KLAMBT media group is investing in Careloop, an online recruitment platform for international nurses and geriatric nurses.
The Berlin-based recruiting/education tech start-up Careloop recruits nursing staff from abroad, thereby solving the increasingly acute problem of the shortage of nursing staff in Germany. It is also developing an online academy for foreign care workers that is unique in Germany.
Careloop turns the traditional application process on its head and enables German employers to apply to candidates who have been pre-screened by Careloop. The start-up was founded by Matti Fischer and Alexander Lundberg. The lead investor is the Swiss Founders Fund (SFF).
"By investing in Careloop, we are supporting the solution to one of the biggest social problems in Germany - the shortage of skilled nursing staff. We are thus adding another building block to our investment strategy in the health and care market," says Kai Rose, publisher of the KLAMB media group
