LEA vergibt ersten Lucky Me Award

The KLAMBT Media Group's weekly women's magazine LEA presented its Lucky Me Award for the first time on Saturday.

Together with Ulla Popken, LEA hosted a glamorous evening in Hamburg's in-location Bastion on 13 October, where we not only crowned the Ulla Popken Curvy Model, but also a reader with the LEA Lucky Me Award, as part of a cooperation with Ulla Popken.

Lucky Me stands for the attitude that LEA wants to communicate to its readers, true to its claim "Glücklich steht mir gut" ("Happiness suits me fine"):
Feel comfortable with yourself and your body! The editorial team under editor-in-chief Sabine Bartels saw this attitude embodied in the 37-year-old Bettina Schulten from Nuremberg.

Sabine Bartels: “Bettina Schulten not only has an incredible presence and positive charisma, she also stands for everything that LEA stands for: Be happy with yourself, because you are unique! Bettina Schulten gives body positivity a very likeable face."

Other highlights of the festive programme were the spirited moderation by Enie van de Meiklokjes and the live performances of the girly band Lichtblick (“Tausend und eine Nacht" ("Thousand and One Nights”)) and by singer & songwriter Max Giesinger (“80 Millionen" ("80 million”), “Wenn sie tanzt" ("When she dances”)).

Editor-in-chief Sabine Bartels plans to present the Lucky Me Award regularly on changing occasions in the future.
