BCN übernimmt crossmediale Vermarktung

Klambt Media Group and Burda Verlag agree long-term cooperation

As part of a strategic collaboration, the KLAMBT Media Group has now commissioned the multichannel marketer BCN to market its magazine portfolio and digital platforms. These include popular, well-known titles such as Für Sie, Petra, Vital, Funk Uhr, Lea, Jolie or OK as well as ok-magazin.de. Only Grazia and graziamagazin.de are excluded from the cooperation.

Publishers Kai and Lars Rose comment: “As shareholders of a publishing house with 177 years of tradition and a passion for the media, we are convinced that significant developments in markets require future-oriented course-setting. We share a clear commitment to print media brands and their importance for the reader and advertising market with Burda and its marketer BCN”.

Burda board member Philipp Welte: “Today is a good day for the publishing industry, as we are positioning ourselves even more future-proof with this alliance. In view of the challenges of quality journalism faces in competition with digital platforms, the intelligent pooling of our forces is of increasing relevance. We look forward to marketing the attractive portfolio of KLAMBT titles."

The collaboration is led by the BCN managing directors Burkhard Graßmann and Michael Samak as well as the previous KLAMBT Media Sales management Jan Magatzki and Carmen Kleinfeldt and developed in perspective. The BCN units are now responsible for marketing, including the creation of cross-media offers and aftersales for the KLAMBT portfolio. The central interface in the BCN is the Publisher Management responsible for clients – with its own team for KLAMBT, which will be based in Hamburg. The transaction will be processed by AdTech Factory.
