The MEDIENGRUPPE KLAMBT delivered more than 80 million magazines by magazine wholesaling at home and abroad in 2008. The majority of deliveries was carried out by business partner in Pressegrosso.
After the reunification of Germany there was a lack of appropriate structure of distribution in East Germany. That was why the most important public newspaper publishers took initiative and founded own grand distributions in several regions of the new German states. In addition to that other grand companies developed, in which the publishing companies are not involved with.
At the moment the MEDIENGRUPPE KLAMBT is involved in eight grand companies of the new German states as well as in two grand companies in Western Germany. To consolidate the shares organisationally Klambt-Presse GmbH was founded and is located in Speyer. It is holding the shares.
